Do The Powder Coaters offer sandblasting services?
Sandblasting is an essential step in the powder coating process. Unless the customer specifically states that they don’t want their product sandblasted, any item that comes through our shop will be sandblasted in our industrial-grade sandblasting booth to clear away excess material, grease, or residue that has built up during use.
We offer sandblasting as a separate service as well. If you require sandblasting for your items, contact our customer service department and we’ll set you up with an appointment.
What items can be powder coated?
Unlike traditional paint, a powder coat is applied using electrostatic energy. Therefore, metal of any kind is ideal for powder coating. We deal with metal products of all shapes and sizes every day. Our technicians have years of experience applying coats to metal items and they know what it takes to apply a coat that lasts. At our shop, we have over 250 colours available with dozens of customizable finishes. If you don’t find the colour you want within the stock we have on hand, we have access to roughly 9000 custom colors through our vendors.
